What is DBT?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy or DBT is an evidenced-based behavioral psychotherapy which helps individuals learn coping and life skills to improve functioning, fulfillment, and increase self-awareness and self-care. DBT was created by Marsha Linehan, Ph.D, ABPP, is highly effective in treating trauma, PTSD, interpersonal difficulties, depression/anxiety, and many different mental health disorders including, Borderline Personality Disorder.
